They're definitely 5 things, Arne. Carlos, the mittens are 2 things.🤣
Arne du påminner mej av min mamma, hon älskar vispgrädde och måste slicka vispen
Jag älskar både Norge och Sverige.
Only just found your page. I live in Australia but was born in Sweden and my dad is from Norway. My husband and I spent time in Sweden and Norway last year. We spent some time near Trondheim and also Oslo. I gren up in Trollhättan in sweden. Love seeing all this food that I remember eating growing up. Flat bread is my favourite and miss it as we can’t get it here anymore
Thank you for your quilting update! I'm planning to work on my Agnes hexagon pillow this summer on the days that are too hot for knitting. Liberty cotton is AMAZING! I'd love to see the Italian factory too!
It's such a pleasure watching your post casts and everything you do Arne and Carlos! It is wonderful what you do and I learn so much about everything from you! Love you guys! ❤Keep up the good work!
Lovely yarn and beautiful scenery, thank you Arne & Carlos.
Watching on July 31 2024 . Just a beautiful garden . Sounds like your flowers love you as much as you love them . Amazing how some of them grows when its not normal for them to grow 😊 Im sure your proud an know you take care of them . Enjoyed ❤❤
So no plastic bags in Norway but everything is packaged in plastics. So funny. And govt monopoly on goods. In Australia..Norway has been in the news and not in a good way. World politics is a whole minefield of double standards.
Really love seeing your favorite episodes, I love all your vlogs, blogs, & videos hugs 🫂
Thank you so much!
Ya ya I would love to have a tour to Italy and the Liberty factory. That sounds so exciting
It would be something that would be fun to do one day.
❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you!
Hi arnecarlos Those hexagons are gorgeous. What size are they please?
Please do food/recipe tutorials!
We have done quite a few in the past: ua-cam.com/play/PLElv_tSbHW3pY78motiA81bUjSbXa7pcm.html&si=R2V41TmUyYOl4REB
This is indeed a time-consuming project but it will turn out so gorgeous with all the embroidery to fabric. I've never seen one done like that before. Really looking forward to seeing the next video this project
Thank you, we have filmed an update that is scheduled for the fall.
Whisk eggs and sugar until you can ‘draw’ a figure 8 - Carlos, you did this with the tiramisu. Please remember to add a pinch of salt and 5ml vanilla extract. Cut a circle of baking paper the same size as the base of the cake pan. Love your videos, the cooking ones are very funny!
👍🏻
I think touring the Liberty factory would be very interesting. I love their fabrics, and I agree, it can be hard to choose. 😊
😍
What fun it would be to sit there and work on a project with you both!
😍
In Canada, it is very similar in that we have a post next to the grocery store and a liquor store as well. We now often have coffee shops next to the grocery store
Thank you for sharing.
A couple of sheep to keep the grass down😊
Moose, moose Freija! x❤
☺️☺️
Hi to you both. I got some results from ancestry and I always knew I had family from Norway and I’m 40% Norwegian. I sure wish I got to know them all. But I live vicariously through you both. Absolutely love your channel 😊
Thank you so much Darlene! That is quite a high percentage❤️
Oh my it looks yummy. Thanks for sharing. Enjoy your dinner.😊
Thank you!
Love the idea of reviving fabric. I don't make quilts but grew up with folks using shirts, skirts, and everything else.
I would love to see were they make Liberty fabric. I love that you guys get so involved in hexagon that’s my favorite too and Kate is one of my people that I watch all the time too. She’s wonderful thank you guys. Have a wonderful day.
You as well!
Yes organize a quilting and yarn store tour in the UK, France or Italy.
Use some of your own fabrics!
We are doing a tutorial soon where we use our own fabric, stay tuned!
Use half square triangles where you can.
Will you hand applique the square in the middle?
Hello!! I loved this video!! Love the Volkswagen!
Thank you!!
You can use a fusible like Mystyfuse to put the two fabrics together
Thank you Michele.
Those little birds are darling - a perfect touch! What an idyllic place you have created.❤
Thank you so much!
Hi guys. Great show.
Thank you!
I LOVE Blythe!!! These sweaters are so sweet. I have several minis, 3 regular size Blythe and I'm waiting for the Blythe middies to arrive. Can't wait to start knitting for the girls!
😍😍
Just as good the second time around, love❤❤❤ you guys!!!
Thank you!
Love Lake Como, would be good to see the Liberty factory.
❤️❤️
❤ The Liberty fabrics are gorgeous! How to choose? Carlos, if there is a fabric you cannot resist, but it doesn’t make it into the quilt, remember: cushions! A fabric mill tour is always fascinating! ❤ Happy Sunday!
It is almost impossibel to choose!
Love watching you both. A trip to the Liberty place in Italy would be great and fun to watch your visit. Enjoy the summer in your beautiful location.
Thank you!
I've been watching reruns while I do other crafts. Love them all
Great!
The idea of using the machine embroidered hankies (they are more decorative than useful ☺) to make the design motifs are great! It's always interesting to see how your "design eyes" are so much more pattern forward than mine e.g. mixing checks and plaids with florals. ☺And YES to seeing a tour of the Liberty Mill near Como!!! Lovely place you live.❣
❤️❤️
You guys are the best love watching your videos amazing thank you for sharing your happy place with me 😊🦋🍋🌻💐🌼🦋🐞
Thank you for watching Kaye!
I love watching you guys go shopping. I can’t wait to see the finds finished. Love to you both. 😊
😍😍
I could shop there all the time. So fun. Now I want to taste shrimp cheese in a tube.
Hopefully you will be able to one day, maybe you can order it online?
You two are an absolute delight. My mother was 100% Norwegian, and I was blessed to know my great grandparents. My family had a garden, fruit trees, farmed the land, gardens, quilted, embroidered, knitted, crocheted, sewed, tatted, canned, and so many things to survive. You bring so much of this back to me as they're all gone now. Blessings to you.
❤️❤️
I love the greenhouse and your lovely view of the lake. I could sit out there and knit all day! The hexi quilt is going to be so beautiful. Looking forward to seeing it all complete. Have a wonderful week! ❤❤🤗😘
You as well!
Yes, it would be interesting to see how the beautiful and detailed Liberty fabrics are made. Arne, might it help you to use a “fussy cut template”? They make cutting out each motif, so they are all the same, faster. You can make your own out of card stock. There are explanations on the internet if you haven’t discovered this technique yet.- Mary
